    Dane is cool,
but he still goes to the pool.

    A tiger with no name,
    It’s really such a shame!

The name of the tiger will have to wait,
Otherwise my reports will be late.

    The giant dog,
    was sitting on a log,
    well playing in some fog.

Look at all the funny trees
look at all the honey bees

Dane, James and Madison I am so pleased to see your Rhyming Couplets on the blog. You have done an excellent job rhyming words and correctly punctuating your poem. You are poets and you didn’t even know it!

    I have a few couplet poems, here they are;

    Our cat chased a rat,
    who is now lying flat.

In the play I have many parts,
After we’ll have jam, cake and tarts.

I’m really good at doing art,
So in a competition i’ll take part.

Looking at a very silly clown,
I wonder if he will ever frown.

    I have a space rocket,
It’s so small it’s in my pocket.

    I have a family lochet,
It is right here in my pocket.

    Here I have a rocket,
    right here in my pocket.

    There’s a little dog,
    running through the fog.
